Randi Schimmoeller is an illustrator and printmaker based in Findlay, Ohio. She earned her B.A. in Fine Art at Ashland University in 2015, choosing to concentrate in printmaking and minor in art history. While she still occasionally works in the printmaking medium, her primary interest is in digital illustration.
Her current work focuses on finding a balance between her love of delicate lineart and pleasing, colorful palettes. Plants and small-to-medium animals are particularly captivating subjects for her, whether to utilize as symbols hinting to a deeper meaning in her art or simply as a lovely aesthetic addition.
When she’s not creating art, she spends her free time reading books and comics, listening to podcasts, and hanging out with her cat.
